Lava flow spills down from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano

Kilauea's lava flow exemplifies the natural upheavals (earthquakes, volcanic activity) prophesied in the end times. Luke 21:25 describes 'signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations' including geological disturbances. While a single volcano eruption is not eschatological fulfillment itself, it aligns thematically with the predicted increase in seismic and volcanic activity characterizing the latter days.
