M5.1 earthquake strikes north of Ascension Island

This earthquake correlates tangentially with the prophecy of 'famines, pestilences, and earthquakes' as signs of the times. While the M5.1 magnitude is relatively minor and occurs in a remote location (Ascension Island), it still represents the ongoing seismic activity that Jesus described as characteristic of the end times birth pangs.

The earthquake has a minor connection to the cosmic disturbances prophecy which begins with 'a great earthquake' (σεισμός μέγας). However, this M5.1 event is far from the 'great earthquake' described in Revelation 6:12 that causes every mountain and island to be moved, representing only a very tangential correlation to this major prophetic event.
