M5.3 earthquake strikes south of the Kermadec Islands

This earthquake correlates tangentially with the prophecy of earthquakes in various places as signs of the times. While this M5.3 earthquake near the Kermadec Islands is relatively minor, it fits the pattern of seismic activity that Jesus described as birth pangs before the end (Matthew 24:7-8).

The earthquake has a distant connection to the sixth seal judgment which begins with 'a great earthquake' (σεισμός μέγας). Though this M5.3 event is far smaller than the prophesied global earthquake that moves every mountain and island, it represents the same category of seismic phenomena described in Revelation 6:12.
