M4.9 earthquake strikes south of the Kermadec Islands

The earthquake correlates tangentially with the prophecy of 'famines, pestilences, and earthquakes' as signs of the times. The Hebrew term רַעַשׁ (ra'ash) refers to earthquakes as part of end-times natural upheaval. However, this is a relatively minor M4.9 earthquake in a remote location, making it a weak correlation to the prophetic pattern of escalating seismic activity.

This earthquake has a very tangential connection to the sixth seal cosmic disturbances, which begin with σεισμός μέγας (seismos megas - great earthquake). While earthquakes are part of this prophetic sequence, a M4.9 event falls far short of the 'great earthquake' that moves every mountain and island from their places described in Revelation 6:12-14.
