Wall Street set for lower open as U.S.-Iran tensions rise

Iran (ancient Persia) is specifically named as part of the Gog/Magog coalition that will invade Israel in the latter years according to Ezekiel 38-39. Rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran could be preliminary to this prophesied alignment, as increased Iranian aggression may push them toward the prophesied invasion coalition.

U.S.-Iran tensions represent the kind of international conflict described as 'wars and rumors of wars' and 'nation rising against nation.' The Hebrew term for nations (goyim) encompasses the Gentile powers, and escalating tensions between major powers fits the pattern of chronic warfare and geopolitical instability characterizing the end times.

Iran's geographic position as part of the broader 'kings of the east' region gives this a tangential connection. While Iran is more associated with the Gog coalition, rising tensions in the Middle East could contribute to the geopolitical instability that enables the massive eastern military mobilization described in Revelation 16:12.
